About Us

I started out with three goats to clear some property and I only knew that goats didn't really eat tin cans. Luck was with me in that I remembered seeing some percentage Boer goats (at the time I had never heard of Boer goats or any other breed for that matter) and I thought they were 'pretty, for a goat'. Someone had told me that goats stink so I asked 'the man' if his goats stink and as I said I was lucky to buy Boer goats. Someone boarded a Nubian Doe with me and one morning I went out to check on my new little family and I found a bundle on the ground (didn't know she was pregnant) and she was beautiful (spotted). I thought we had something really unique and special because goats don't 'come in spots'.   If you have goats you know the rest of the story. After several years (since September 25 1999) and many goats later I am still in love with Boers and their beautiful kids the only thing different is that I now have registered fullblood Boers.

I raise all of my goats, whether they are breeding stock or terminal animals, to be as healthy as can be to help him/her grow to be a credit to my name and a good producer for you. Part of this care is quality feed, hay, goat minerals and attending all births possible to help insure newborns get the most Colostrum as soon as possible for a healthy future. I believe healthy kids grow out to be healthy and long producing adults. I strive for a reputation of being an honest and reliable breeder of quality registered Boer goats, traditional, non traditional and paints.

Quality not Quantity.

Posha the wonder dog. I really wondered if she would ever become  a
guardian (LGD). Posha was bonded to humans and never exposed to livestock.
After following the advice of Coni Ross http://www.crranch.org on how to get Posha
to bond to goats and how to get her to stay in my fencing I am happy to say Posha is worth her
weight in gold or at least the howling of the Coyotes at night tell me she is.
