Have you ever wanted to start your own business, but wasn’t really sure where to begin? Or have you started your own business, but haven’t attracted that big following of clients to propel your business to another level? Come join us at the Alabama Women and Youth-In-Agriculture Conference, 

Topics will include, Government Programs, Grant writing, Business planning, Financing Small Businesses, E-Commerce, Computer training, Financial and Retirement Planning, Marketing Opportunities, Value-added Agriculture & Non-Agricultural Demonstrations, Youth Loans, Youth Entrepreneurship Development, Gardening as a Business, and Businessmen & women success stories, Free Facials and Makeovers, as well as displays and exhibits. All are welcome. Participation is open to the public, especially those interested in agriculture, small business development, and entrepreneurial assistance.

The program has been developed to Grow New Markets, Cultivate Entrepreneurs, Empower Women and Sustain Alabama’s Future.

FUTURE PLANS INCLUDE

For 2009 you can expect: The Master Meat Goat Herdsman Program, this is an extensive training program addressing the primary aspects of meat goat production. We expect to conduct six throughout the state for the first year (NE, NW, WC, EC, South, and ?). There will possibly be a Youth Master Meat Goat Herdsman Program for the latter half of 2009.

For 2010 you can expect: The Master Meat Goat Herdsman Program, the Junior Master Meat Goat Herdsman Program, the Advanced Master Meat Goat Herdsman Program, and …. The Master Dairy Goat & Dairyman Program.
